A few weeks ago I had my first overnight stay, this is one of the services i provide which means the dogs can stay in the comfort of their own home.
As this was the first one I have done I wasn’t sure what to expect, I started by taking the dogs for a long walk in the afternoon where we played with the ball and had a little run along the beach, which would mean on the night they could just be let out the back to go to the toilet.
Night time this was the fun part, at first it took the dogs a while to settle as they are used to me coming in and taking them for a walk they were very excited and it took them a while to understand why I was sitting down. Eventually when they got settled taking it in turns to have cuddles, I noticed the cats who were a little unsure of me at first but after a while they were fine, one just sat on the window sill but the other little cat I noticed was sitting next to the fish bowl which was defiantly my entertainment for the night as he was trying to catch the fish, he didn’t actually touch they glass as her paws just kept swiping past the bowl. Sleep time was also fun there was 2 of us in the bed and 3rd one on the floor but after the little one calmed down as she seemed to get excited again, she had a great sleep snoring away.
The next morning the routine started again I put feed down for the cats and the dogs and then we all went out for an early morning walk.
